If you’re still here, thank you. Thank you for being our earliest supporters, customers, and cheerleaders.
When we first started testing a ghee-based lip balm, we really didn’t know where it would go. We vividly remember choosing that black and gold packaging, making the lip balm ourselves, and at times, thinking what are we even doing.
But when the orders started coming in and even our toughest critics (moms who probably have enough ghee in their pantries) became our repeat customers, we knew we were on to something.
We’ve spent the last couple of years working with a lab to develop a formula to make ghee last longer and supercharge it with ingredients to hydrate and soothe your skin. Today we’re launching our line of lip care, including newly formulated Lip Balms, and our two newest products, our Hydrating Lip Mask and our Buffing and Brightening Lip Scrub. All made with, you guessed it, ghee.
For those of you who have expressed your love for our original lip balms, know that this formula is different, but will last you much, much longer. Just like ghee, it’ll start off as a solid and melt with the heat from your skin. But if you’re into that instant creamy texture, we highly recommend you switch to the lip mask. It’s something special.
While we’re at it, we want to give a special thank you to our family. From a sister that jumped on board as a co-founder, another sister who became the resident family skincare chemist, and a brother who could sell anything, we’re lucky to have you in our corner. Thank goodness for our parents, our number one fans. Watching our dad obsess over the quality of the ghee and design multiple devices for straining and ensuring that right boiling point, to using his years of building industrial tanks for large skincare companies. And a mom giving us all the product feedback, making boxes while hinting about not being featured in every single campaign… we promise you’re next.
This truly has turned into a family affair. And we consider you all just that, family. Can’t wait for all your feedback! ;)
Much Love,
Arati & Varun
